About the event

Finding Flow: Courage and Compassion (Guided by Strength)

When we’re met with uncertainty or challenge, fear can take over, awakening our instinctive fight, flight, freeze, or fawn response. We’re often taught to meet fear by taking charge, pushing through, or trying to overcome it. But what if there was another way? What might happen if we met our fear with unconditional love and understanding instead?

Through meditation, journaling, conscious dance, and creative expression, we’ll explore what it means to meet fear with courage and compassion. To hold it gently and recognize it for what it is: an ancient protective response trying to keep us safe even when danger isn't present. What would it look like to listen the fear, speak words of comfort to it, let it rage and be loud, and still meet it with love?

No tarot or dance experience necessary, just an open mind and heart. All are welcome. Come as you are!

Finding Flow: A Journey through Practices and Portals

Move, breathe, create, and dance toward your deepest self

Each class centers around a theme inspired by the rhythms of the earth and cosmos — abundance, courage, balance, joy — explored through movement, meditation, tarot, writing, and art. The theme offers a container for our journey, a symbolic landscape through which we move. A tarot card serves as our guide, offering archetypal insight and wisdom along the way. Music provides a map of the terrain, while the altar serves as both mirror and anchor — a place to return for grounding, reflection, or renewal.

Together, we cultivate a flow state where mind, body, and spirit align. You’ll shed stuck energy, reconnect with your creative spark, and awaken the wisdom of your body in a space that is safe, supportive, and free from judgment. No dance experience needed. All bodies and abilities are welcome.
