Portal 5 (The Illusion of Separation)
How can we open our hearts to hold the totality of oneness? The very foundation of how we construct “reality” is based on the illusion of separateness. Me, you, this, that. We like to think that day and night are opposites, but day is constantly turning into night which is constantly turning into day. The light is always shifting. This is a puddle, that is a stream, that is an ocean. But the stream feeds into a river which empties out into the ocean. The ocean evaporates and becomes a cloud. The cloud rains and becomes a puddle, which evaporates, too. We breathe in the oxygen from the evaporated water vapor and breathe out carbon dioxide. The trees breathe in the carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. We are nature, we are stardust, we are not separate from anything, even that which we disdain or view as evil. There is no opposite, no other.
This is a painting about the truth of our oneness. May your viewing and contemplation inspire you to consider this illusion and all the examples in the universe that prove it as such.
Product Description
This open edition print is made with archival inks on Metallic Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper.
This print is available unframed in the following sizes: 9x12, 11x14 or 18x24. Unframed prints are packaged on corrugated cardboard and inside a plastic sleeve for protection while in transit.
A variety of framing options are available for the 11x14 print size. All frames include hanging hardware and are built with conservation reflection control acrylic glass. All prints are final sale only. If your print arrives damaged, please take a photo and contact Caitlin at info@infiniteportalsstudio.com to arrange a replacement.
Care Instructions
Handle prints with care to avoid leaving fingerprints. Cotton gloves are recommended if you have them. If not, be sure to clean and fully dry your hands before touching the print and do your best to hold it at the edges.
